Isringhausen Imports recently held its second annual Test Drive Towards a Cure event on Saturday, September 21st. The event drew a large crowd of enthusiastic participants eager to test drive various luxury vehicles for a good cause. The goal was to support the fight against breast cancer and raise funds for Susan G. Komen and Land of Lincoln Pink Warriors.
The day started with a live in-store radio broadcast by Sam Madonia and the Sports Radio 1450 team. Jeff Jarrett, a pro wrestler and co-owner of the local sports team, also made an appearance to promote an upcoming event and show his support.
Attendees were excited to test drive seven unique luxury vehicles, including the Porsche Taycan, BMW i5, and Volvo XC90. For every mile driven, Isringhausen committed to donating two dollars, and generous individuals made additional donations. Despite a brief afternoon shower, the weather was generally lovely, and the event saw a steady stream of thrilled drivers until it concluded at 4:00 p.m. On-air personalities from 104.5 WFMB and 99.7 The Mix engaged with Isringhausen staff, test drivers, and others throughout the day.
A big thank you is extended to everyone who participated in test-driving the vehicles for such a meaningful cause. The final event statistics, including miles driven and funds raised, are currently being calculated, and an update will be provided soon.
For those who missed the event but would like to contribute, donations can still be made by visiting www.isringhausen.com/donate.
