Every year, Illinois Times, a free weekly publication in Springfield, invites its readers to cast their votes for their favorite businesses, service providers, destinations, and more in the Springfield area. The eagerly awaited "Best of Springfield" edition, showcasing these results, hit newsstands in late October. For the second consecutive year, Isringhausen Imports has secured top honors in both the Best Auto Dealer (New) and Best Auto Dealer (Used) categories. Moreover, Isringhausen's Brandon Horner has been recognized as the Best Auto Salesperson, with a special acknowledgment for Brian Mitchell, who was a finalist.

With over 200 categories ranging from hamburgers and men's clothing stores to tattoo artists and mobile pet groomers, the competition is fierce. The free publication typically begins its initial nomination phase in mid-August, after which the top five nominees in each category advance to the final voting round. Notably, last year's Best Museum category alone received upwards of 87,000 votes.
